  2. Wow. How wonderful, Luanne. Congratulations. I’d read this poem before, but I enjoyed reading it again with the extra details. It’s remarkable that she lived. And she was talented, too–to paint that shell.

    I’ve started mining family history and history for poetry and CNF. Perhaps you’ve inspired me!
