Today (August 31, UK time) I have a new microfiction up at Paragraph Planet. The daily stories are 75 words each–and that includes the title.

This story is about the creative spirit that only can die out with the person.

Congratulations on your publication! I loved your story. (The Paragraph Planet website not so much. It’s very hard to read.)
Haha I know. It’s the only 75 word site I know.
That’s quite a challenge to convey all that information and emotion in only 75 words. So well done, Luanne. Really sweet. Sad, but sweet.
Thank you, Anneli. I love that challenge!
You did it beautifully in 75 words, Luanne! Two of my relatives and a neighbor were in hospice. I understand the emotions.
Thank you, Miriam. I’m so sorry. It’s so hard. My dad was in hospice in 2015. I can’t believe it’s been so long. It seems like yesterday.
Sorry to hear that, Luanne. I know, when our loved ones are in hospice, the families are heartbroken.
It is such an awful time.
A stunning story, Luanne
Thank you so much, Derrick.
Congratulations, Luanne and a powerful and poignant story is so few words! I loved the small details and found in shorter pieces these especially add the depth to the pieces. Xx
Annika, thank you! I am fascinated how micro pieces work. A collection of well-ordered details tells a tiny story that works as a portal to a larger imagined story in the reader. I think so at least.
Congrats! Great story!
Thank you, Kate!
You pack a lot into 75 words! Well done.
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your story! The emotions came shining through in those seventy-five words!
Linda, thank you very much!
So much emotion in just 75 words, congratulations. 🙂
Thank you Desiree! Thank you for stopping by, too!
Very powerful and beautifully written.
Amy, thank you so much. I know you’ve been there.
Thanks, Luanne, for sharing your MicroPublication. A tender thought and photo.
Thank you, Elaine! xo
It took me a minute to find it but it was a powerful story for such few words. A subject I’m very interested in these days.
Thank you, Marlene. It’s a subject close to all our hearts and minds, but more so some times than others.
Luanne, I couldn’t find your story on Paragraph Planet. Not only did I find the site difficult to navigate but when I put your name in their search engine I got a message that there was an error and the site was not secure.
Carol, thank you for alerting me. I replaced the link with a screenshot!
I don’t really know what that means. Anyway I will go back and try the link. BTW Luanne yesterday in the mail I received OUR WOLVES. I am eager to read it. I love the feel of the cover.
It means that I put the whole story up for easy reading on the post :)! Oh, yay!!!! I really hope you like Our Wolves, Carol!!!
Thanks Luanne. I appreciate you posting your story here. I loved that you linked a dream with the unconscious. Your 75 words reminded me of when my sister was dying and unconscious a nurse came into the room and encouraged us to speak to her telling us that she can hear us. There’s so much about the unconscious that is so mysterious even that one can create in this state. <3
It is so true about the unconscious. That was so smart of the nurse to tell you and your family to speak to your sister. I do believe as long as one is alive, one can create. If not, why do we sometimes write books, poems, etc. in our dreams?
You bring up an interesting point, Luanne. <3
