  1. That was a great little interview Luanne. I always want to give a childish giggle when I hear ‘Kalamazoo’. It was equated with ‘Timbuktu’ as somewhere wild and far away when I was a little child and also a noise made to frighten ducks and geese and birds from the gardens planted with seeds and the oldies shouting at the kids ‘Blow your kalamazoo!’ Isn’t it crazy the way words get used and changed sometimes. Hope your foot is coming along just fine – but do stay off those horses!! 🙂

    • I never heard of saying Kalamazoo scare birds away from gardens! hahaha It does sounds a little like a sneeze though! Thanks for commenting both places, Pauline!

  2. Thanks so much for visiting today, Luanne!

  3. Thank you so much for inviting me! I’m having a blast!

  4. Great interview. Glad to read about you.

  5. Hi, Luanne. I enjoyed reading your interview and thoughts about taking risks. I sometimes think the characters I create are living out my dreams of taking risks! Your curiosity about and deep connection to family is also wonderful. You make them come alive for us.

    • Oh, thank you so much, Patti! I always wanted to be an invisible time traveler, so this is the next best thing. I would hate to be a visible time traveler though. Think of all the dangers, speaking of risks! hahaha
