For this week’s haiku I used “bleached grasses” for a kigo.

wave in a joyful welcome
to my new grandson

Sheila, thank you!!!! We haven’t brought him around Perry quite yet as he only got home today fro the hospital. But Perry was told 3 times to stay out of the baby’s bassinet, and I am seeing a little confused jealousy when he looks at me as if to say, “But I’m the baby!!!” hahaha
Hahaha…Perry will catch on – and turn into the baby protector!! In the interim, it’s a process…enjoy every day.
I hope so. Their dog who is a little goofy is doing well so far. Fingers crossed on that!
