Jorie at Jorie Loves a Story interviewed me on the topics of genealogy, poetry, and Kin Types. Her questions were so thought-provoking, and I really enjoyed where they took me!
Check it out if you can.

I think we’re going to have a little latke party at our daughter’s house. It’s also my birthday weekend. 🙂 This weekend I’m prepping for a colonoscopy. Not so much fun. 😉
Luanne, your answers were wonderful in response to Jorie’s detailed, fascinating questions.
Jorie’s ability to encompass a variety of descriptions of your uniquely beautiful poems, prose and family stories was something else! I’m so thrilled you were quite fabulous in this review particularly. Hope you are doing well, dear friend. xo
Thanks so much, Robin! You are such a sweetie. I think about you and your family (and especially Randy, but also the others) quite often and have been wondering how you will spend Christmas this year!
Hope your holidays are spent with your own special ones. ❤
Christmas will be split between visiting my Mom over 22nd thru 24th. I was lucky to see her twice since Thanksgiving, due to my brother’s accident. She was thrilled with a pretty wreath we all pitched in to purchase. She loves the poinsettias and red bulbs woven into it. I got a selfie with us to send to my family, grown kids and even the 2 older great grands with love from her. She sat and exclaimed at my phone “magic” getting texts back to her. 💞
Fantastic interview, Luanne! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Jill! xo
Congratulations Luanne. I like the well-phrased different aspects of Cora and Alice.
Ah, thanks, Derrick. You see a lot of shadows and light when you’re looking back at people you never met!
Wonderful interview, Luanne!
Thanks so much, Merril! Hope your weekend is a really super splendiferous one!
Thanks Luanne. This weekend will not be so great, but the following one will be. 🙂
Are you going to have a Hanukkah party?!

A great interview Luanne, lots of fascinating background to the wonders of the book.
Thanks so much, Andrea!

Very thoughtful and informative interview! Nicely detailed and inspiring too. Love the idea about using objects to tell stories too.
If you do try it, please send me one to read!
